Additional flights and train services to be launched during winter holidays

To meet increased passenger demand during the winter holiday period, additional air and rail services will be introduced on several domestic routes from December 26 through January 12.

According to the Ministry of Transport, 14 additional Afrosiyob high-speed train services will operate on the Tashkent – Samarkand – Tashkent route on December 26–31 and January 4.

On the Tashkent – Bukhara – Tashkent route, four additional Afrosiyob services will be added on December 26–31.

On the Tashkent – Khiva – Tashkent route, 12 additional passenger train services will be operated through January 12.

In addition, four extra railcars will be attached daily through January 12 to trains running on the following routes: Tashkent – Khiva – Tashkent, Tashkent – Shovot – Tashkent, Tashkent – Kungrad – Tashkent, Tashkent – Termez – Tashkent, and Tashkent – Bukhara – Tashkent, including the Sharq train service.

Uzbekistan Airways will also operate additional domestic flights from December 28 through January 11 on several routes.

Extra flights will be operated from Tashkent to Nukus, Bukhara, Urgench, Termez, and Namangan.

Specifically, additional services are scheduled on the Tashkent – Nukus – Tashkent route on December 28–31 and January 3–4, 9, 10–11; on the Tashkent – Bukhara – Tashkent route on December 28–31 and January 3–4, 9–11; on the Tashkent – Urgench – Tashkent route on December 28–31 and January 3–4, 9–11; on the Namangan – Tashkent – Namangan route on January 9; and on the Tashkent – Termez – Tashkent route on December 30 and January 10.
