Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration, announced that the newly established Road Traffic Management Center has presented a comprehensive strategy for Tashkent. The presentation focused on mitigating traffic congestion, improving ecological conditions, and enhancing the monitoring of public transport systems.

According to the reports shared during the presentation, large-scale initiatives are set to launch in the coming days. Key components of the plan include the installation of intelligent signaling systems to optimize traffic flow, painting and maintaining road lines in strict accordance with international standards and establishing organized parking zones to reduce disorganized roadside stops that contribute to bottlenecks.

Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed her expectation that the team led by the city mayor will dedicate all necessary resources and efforts to ensure the full implementation of the presidential decree.

"I will personally oversee the progress of these works," Mirziyoyeva stated, underlining the high priority placed on these reforms. She concluded by wishing the team success in executing this vital project, which is considered essential for the sustainable development of the capital.

The modernization efforts are expected to not only ease the daily commute for residents but also significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the city’s transport network.
