Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent enters Guinness World Records
The Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent has been officially inducted into the Guinness World Records under the category of "Largest Islamic Civilization Museum."

According to the Dunyo news agency, this recognition stresses the international significance of the complex in showcasing Islamic scientific and cultural heritage through a modern lens.
The initiative to establish the center was spearheaded by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aimed at the deep study and global promotion of the rich legacy of Islamic civilization. Located within the Hazrati Imam complex, the center is distinguished by its monumental architectural dimensions. The site spans 10 hectares, with a building length of 161 meters, a width of 118 meters, and a dome rising to 65 meters. The total internal area covers nearly 50,000 square meters, providing the definitive basis for the world record.
The official Guinness World Records certificate was formally presented by organization representative Seyda Subasi. In addition to the world record, the center’s museum has also been honored as the best museum of the Turkic world.
