According to meteorologists, the accumulation of rainwater in certain areas could lead to significant flooding. The regions at risk include Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan. In Tashkent region specifically, the warning covers districts such as Ohangaron, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Piskent, Orta Chirchiq, and Yuqori Chirchiq, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk.

Other high-risk areas identified by Uzhydromet include several districts in the Fergana Valley and southern Uzbekistan. In Kashkadarya, the threat is high for Yakkabog, Dehkanabad, Chiroqchi, Kitab, Shakhrisabz, Kamashi, and Guzar. In Surkhandarya, residents of Sariosiyo, Uzun, Altinsay, Denau, Boysun, Sherobod, Shurchi, Kumkurgan, and Muzrabot are advised to be on alert.

Samarkand’s mountainous zones, including Urgut, Bulungur, and Kushrabod, alongside districts in Navoi, Jizzakh, and the Fergana, Namangan, and Andijan regions, are also under close monitoring. In Fergana, the warning specifically mentions Sokh, Fergana, and Besharyk districts, along with the Shokhimardon area.

Uzhydromet has strongly advised residents in these foothills and mountainous zones, as well as vacationers and drivers traveling through these territories, to observe all necessary safety precautions. The agency noted that the intensity of the expected rainfall could cause sudden water accumulation and debris flows, posing risks to infrastructure and travel safety.
