Eldor Shomurodov finishes as top scorer in Turkish Super Lig
Uzbekistan national team captain and Istanbul Basaksehir forward Eldor Shomurodov has finished the Turkish Super Lig season as the league's top scorer.
The Uzbek striker enjoyed a prolific campaign, netting 22 goals and providing 5 assists for his club.
Trabzonspor forward Paul Onuachu matched Shomurodov's tally of 22 goals but finished second in the goalscoring charts. Onuachu placed behind the Uzbek international because 6 of his goals came from the penalty spot, and he registered fewer assists during the season.
Fenerbahce midfielder Anderson Talisca secured third place in the rankings. The Brazilian wrapped up his domestic campaign with 19 goals and 4 assists.
