Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan top the list of destinations for Uzbek travelers in early 2026
Over 2.2 million Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes in the first four months of 2026, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
The figure represents an increase of nearly 83,700 compared to the same period last year.
Neighboring countries dominated the rankings. Kyrgyzstan was by far the most visited destination, attracting 899,004 Uzbek travelers, followed by Tajikistan with 388,452 and Kazakhstan with 354,859. Together, the three Central Asian neighbors accounted for the vast majority of outbound trips.
Saudi Arabia came fourth with 138,113 visits ahead of Russia at 115,094 and Turkey at 70,340. The UAE drew 31,073 travelers, China 23,557, Thailand 16,291, and Egypt 15,823, rounding out the top ten.
