Between January and June, 68,600 people received subsidy payments totaling UZS 330.822 billion for electricity they fed into the grid.
The largest payouts were recorded in Bukhara region, where residents received UZS 61.9 billion, followed by Khorezm region with UZS 60.5 billion and Kashkadarya region with UZS 37.3 billion.
The latest figures come after the temporary suspension of subsidy payments earlier this year. On July 2, the Tax Committee announced that households would receive delayed payments for electricity supplied to the grid in April and May.
Under the Solar House program, households have been eligible since April 1, 2023, to receive a subsidy of UZS 1,000 for every kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by rooftop solar panels and fed into the unified power grid.
Eligible participants can claim their payments through the Soliq mobile app by selecting Cashback and Benefits, then Solar House, followed by Transfer to Card.
