Head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva will also serve as Manager of the Tashkent International Financial Center (TIFC) under a presidential decree, while continuing her current duties at the Presidential Administration.
As TIFC Manager, Mirziyoyeva will also serve as Secretary-General of the Council, a role that involves overseeing its work, setting its agenda and chairing its meetings in the Chairman’s absence. Her responsibilities will include coordinating TIFC’s establishment, preparing priority documents and facilitating cooperation between government bodies and the center’s structures.
Saida Mirziyoyeva will also represent the TIFC in relations with international organizations, investors, and partners in Uzbekistan and abroad.
The role includes participating in personnel decisions, including appointing the Executive Director of the TIFC Administration and deputies, as well as recommending leadership for the Financial Services Department.
Mirziyoyeva will also ensure establishment of working groups and the engagement of experts to support the TIFC’s development.
