“The President of Uzbekistan, together with the First Lady, visited the National Memorial Complex in Seoul, where he laid a wreath at the Memorial Tower and left an entry in the Book of Honored Guests”, the statement reads.
The three-day visit includes talks with President Lee Jae Myung in restricted and expanded formats, meetings with National Assembly Speaker Cho Jung-sik, Prime Minister Han Son-suk, executives of the country's major companies and financial institutions, and compatriots living in the Republic.
Mirziyoyev is expected to speak at the opening of a joint business forum.
On September 16, the president will take part in the First Korea-Central Asia Summit 2026.
