Purchase of tickets for intercity bus services becomes available online

The Transport Ministry of Uzbekistan has announced the launch of the website avtoticket.uz, which enables people to purchase online tickets for intercity buses running from the Tashkent bus station.

The Ministry of Transport noted that the full automation of the ticket payment process will help prevent illegal activities.

The online platform also offers additional new solutions for passengers. One can find three-day information on all trips from the Tashkent bus station, the number of available seats, departure times and bus models.

In the near future, the service - online purchase of tickets - will be available for all bus stations throughout the country. Work is also underway to create a mobile application.
