Norway appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
On April 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, officially received the credentials of Helene Sand Andresen, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Minister Saidov highlighted the strong foundation of existing cooperation between the two nations and emphasized that Tashkent sees significant potential for further deepening Uzbek–Norwegian relations.
The discussions focused on identifying new areas for partnership and using the broad opportunities available across various sectors, including economic, political, and cultural exchange.
Bakhtiyor Saidov extended his best wishes to Ambassador Andresen for a successful and productive tenure. He expressed confidence that her professional activities would lead to the effective implementation of joint initiatives and the strengthening of bilateral ties during her mission in the country.
