On October 15-17, Giyosov took part in a meeting of the heads of special services, security and law enforcement agencies, partners of the Russian FSB, in Sochi.
“One of the important aspects of RATS SCO’s work is the cooperation in the search for citizens involved in terrorist and extremist activities. In order to help solve this problem, the RATS SCO Executive Committee has created and systematically updated the Unified Search Register, which includes more than 6,600 people of this specified category,” Giyosov said.
The head of the RATS Executive Committee noted that in order to exchange information between the special services of the SCO countries, a table of registration of foreign terrorist fighters has been developed, which contains data on more than 4,500 people.
There is also a list of more than 115 terrorist, separatist and extremist organizations, whose activities are prohibited in the territories of the SCO member states, Giyosov said.
It should be noted that on November 1-2, Tashkent will host the meeting of the SCO Council of Government Heads of member states.
During the upcoming event, it is planned to consider implementation of the agreements reached at the recent meetings of the government heads of SCO member states, expanding the regulatory framework of trade-economic cooperation within the organization.
