Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed the implementation of the agreements reached.
On December 26, a meeting of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin took place within the framework of the CIS informal summit in St. Petersburg.
At the end of the high-level visit to Russia on October 5-7 this year, special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached.
In order to maintain the growth rate of trade and to promote prospective cooperation projects, it was noted the importance of ensuring close inter-departmental coordination and practical cooperation, including at the level of the regions of the two countries.
Opinions were also exchanged on the regional agenda.
