President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to visit Uzbekistan 

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

On February 22, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziyev held a videoconference with his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev on the inventory of the legal framework between the two countries.

During the talks, the sides discussed ongoing preparations for the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, to Uzbekistan and the upcoming visit of Uzbekistan’s FM, Abdulaziz Kamilov, to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The exact date of Japarov’s visit to Uzbekistan is not known yet. Today he left for Russia on his first foreign visit as a President.

Also, the Deputy Ministers exchanged views on current directions and prospects of bilateral cooperation and discussed issues of further strengthening ties within the framework of regional and international organizations.
