Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Uzbekistan with an official visit
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. The President's plane landed at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
Alexander Lukashenko was met by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov.
On 13 September, President Lukashenko will hold talks with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan. Negotiations will be held in both narrow and extended formats with the participation of delegates. It is expected that the sides will discuss the prospects of bilateral trade and economic relations, development of production cooperation and the establishment of technology manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan.
The talks will focus on strengthening cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture and tourism.
Furthermore, the presidents will exchange views on important regional and international issues.
Following the negotiations, the sides are expected to sign bilateral agreements on expanding cooperation in various spheres. The heads of two states will be visiting the “Amkodor-Agrotechmach” Uzbek-Belarus enterprise and the “Made in Belarus” exhibition.
