Uzbekistan sports delegation arrived in Buenos Aires to participate in the Youth Olympic Games

Today, on Oct. 5, the delegation of Uzbekistan participating in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires has landed in the Argentinian capital, the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Representatives of Uzbekistan were met by the members of the National Olympic Committee working group at the "Ezeiza” International Airport.

For information, the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games, officially known as the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018, is an international sports, cultural, and educational event that will be hosted in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 6 and 18 October 2018. It will be the first Summer Youth Olympic Games to be held outside of Asia (also first in the Southern and Western Hemispheres). 3926 athletes aged 15-18 from 206 countries will take part in the Buenos Aires 2018. Contests will be organized in 32 types of sports.
