Three Uzbek boxers were victorious in Atlantic city, USA
On the evening of November 24, (morning of November 25, Tashkent time) “Hard Rock Hotel & Casino” in Atlantic City, USA, hosted a professional boxing event with the participation of three Uzbek boxers.
The Asian champion Isroil Madrimov contended for the belt WBA Intercontinental. His opponent – Mexican Vladimir Hernandez (10-2, 6 KOs) received knockdown at the second round. Finally, the referee had to stop the fight at the 6th round of the bout, because Madrimov’s rival was not in the stable condition to continue the 10-round-match. Thus, Isroil Madrimov completed his first pro debut match successfully.
Shakhram Giyosov fought against an experienced Mexican boxer Miguel Zamudio (51-11-1, 25 KOs). The Uzbek athlete acted proactively and delivered heavy blows to his counterpart. During the first round of the fight, the Mexican sportsman experienced two knockdowns and had no choice but to admit defeat. Consequently, Shakhram Giyosov was announced as a winner by a technical knockout.
A prizewinner of Olympic and world championships Murodjon Akhmadaliyev held his fifth match in the pro boxing. He competed with an American Isaac Zarate (16-3-3) to defend the WBA Intercontinental Super Bantamweight title belt. The fight went on under the complete superiority of the Uzbek boxer. The American contender missed many punches. At the 7th round of the match, a technical KO was announced and Akhmadaliyev succeeded in the bout.
