Tashkent to host “Uzbekistan – South Korea: vision of the future” workshop
The workshop titled “Uzbekistan – South Korea: vision of the future” to be held in Tashkent on November 30, 2018.
It is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Asia-Pacific Research Center of Hanyang University of the Republic of Korea.
This project is initiated by the Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation under the President of the Republic of Korea.
The primary objective of the workshop is to discuss the current state and prospects of improving Uzbekistan-South Korea bilateral relations.
The event is expected to be attended by heads and experts of leading Uzbekistan and South Korea research centers, heads of companies and organizations of South Korea accredited in Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of state and public organizations.
During the workshop, issues of strengthening mutual political trust, priorities and prospects of Uzbekistan – South Korea cooperation in the sphere of economy, trade and investment, cooperation in transport-communication, tourism and scientific-educational spheres will be discussed.
Following the event, a joint research report will be prepared with practical proposals for strengthening Uzbekistan – South Korea multifaceted cooperation.
It is worth noting that the initiator of the workshop is the Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation under the President of the Republic of Korea.
