The Asian Boxing Confederation reveals the bests of the year. Uzbekistan wins in four categories
The Asian Boxing Confederation, following the online voting in 13 different categories, announced the bests of the year, the press service of the National Olympic Committee reports.
It is worth noting that representatives of Uzbekistan have been named the best of 2018 in several categories. In particular, Isroil Madrimov became the best boxer of the year winning the “Best Asian Men’s Elite Boxer” title (with 46.76% of the total vote) and Ikboljon Kholdorov became third in the same nomination (with 11.02% of the vote).
Dilshod Kazakov was named the “Best Asian International Technical Official (ITO)”, while Alexander Khamidov won the “Best Asian Referee & Judge” nomination.
The Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, which completed a huge amount of work this year and achieved great success, was undoubtedly recognized as the best boxing federation in Asia. It enjoyed 41.74% of the total vote. The second and third places were taken by Boxing Federation of India (36.64%) and Thailand Boxing Association (11.31%).
