At the railway border customs post “Sariosiyo” of the Surkhandarya Regional Customs Administration, an inspecting complex worth 36,8 million soums, equipped with the grant funds provided by the People's Republic of China, was commissioned.
During an event organized on this occasion, it was noted that the customs authorities of our country pay special attention to equipping post stations with modern scanning equipment in order to prevent an illegal import of goods, weapons and narcotics into the country, thorough and accelerated inspection of goods and cars crossing the border.
The modern inspecting complex is installed in cooperation with the Chinese “Nuctech Company Limited” at the railway border post “Sariosiyo”. It serves to increase the technical potential of the customs post and ensure thorough and effective inspection of cargo.
It should be noted that this scanner is the second of five such devices planned to provide to the customs authorities of our country on the basis of a grant.
