In October-December 2018, the National airline launched three new flights to Mumbai, Vladivostok and Jeddah.
In addition, the number of flights on existing routes has been significantly increased. For example, the number of flights on one of the most popular Tashkent-Moscow routes increased to 27 per week. In total, flights to the capital of Russia from Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Termez, Namangan and Fergana reached to 49.
The frequency of flights from Tashkent to Seoul, Dushanbe, Bishkek, Minsk, Rostov-on-Don, Astana and Novosibirsk has also been increased. In particular, ten flights from the capital and two from Samarkand are being performed per week to Istanbul – one of the most popular destinations.
Last year, Uzbekistan Airways completed more than 21,000 flights. As a result, the historic three millionth milestone was reached in passenger transportation.
