Educational forum with participation of over 50 universities of Europe, North America and Asian countries held in Uzbekistan  

For the first time in Uzbekistan, an educational forum was held with the participation of more than 50 universities of Europe, North America and Asian countries. 
 
The event was attended by representatives of national agencies for promotion of education abroad from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as representatives of leading universities in more than a dozen countries. During the conference, the general director of BeginGroup Ms. Olga Gozman said that the universities of Uzbekistan have very good potential. 
 
“The country is becoming more interesting for foreign students and teachers as a dynamically developing, politically stable economy and a young international research and education hub,” she said. 

Within the framework of the Forum, higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Russia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Great Britain, the USA, Japan presented educational programs of higher and additional education, joint educational programs, internship programs and advanced training, including for employees of higher educational institutions. Also, the issues of international cooperation of universities in different countries, admission of foreign students, prospects for higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan to enter the global international market for higher education, promotion of universities in Uzbekistan were considered.  

“We are very pleased to participate in this forum. Many participants today come to me and are interested in the possibilities of learning and cooperation with Germany in the field of education and science. We will be happy to come here again and deepen cooperation between our countries,” a representative of StudyinGermany Mr. Simon Kretzschmar said.
