Uzbekistan national team squad heading to Asian Boxing Championship in Bangkok announced
From April 16 to April 27, the Asian Boxing Championship will be held in Bangkok (Thailand). The national team of Uzbekistan will take part in the continental championship.
“The upcoming Asian Championship does not give a ticket to the World Cup. According to the new regulations of the International Boxing Federation, other licensed tournaments will be organized for the World Cup and the Olympics. In addition, last year, AIBA approved new weight categories for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020,” head coach of the team Tulkin Kilichev said.
