Uzbekistan national team 4 steps up in the FIFA ranking

The national team of Uzbekistan has stepped four stages up in the FIFA ranking for April 2019 and occupied the 85th place. Among Asian teams, Uzbekistan is at the 11th position, ahead of Lebanon.

Héctor Cúper’s team played two matches within the China Cup international tournament in March. At the beginning, Uzbekistan lost to Uruguay. In the next match, they defeated the hosting PRC team with a score of 1-0.

In the updated ranking of FIFA, the TOP-10 of Asian teams remained unchanged.

The national team of Iran, the leader in the region, is on the 21st place of the world ranking.

The Belgian national team is still leading the FIFA’s best. The TOP-3 includes France and Brazil. England overtakes Croatia and ranks fourth. Uruguay is ahead of Portugal – 6th. Switzerland (8th place), Spain (9th) and Denmark (10) conclude the TOP-10.
