Uzbekistan Boxing Federation announces the boxing team attending the Asian Championship in Bangkok 

On April 12, in the conference hall of Oriat Finans Bank, a press conference for the members of the national boxing team and leadership of the Boxing Federation was held. 

On April 17-27, Asian Boxing Championship will be held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. In this regard, head of the federation Saken Pulatov, members of the national team and coaches took part in the press conference.

Reportedly, the following athletes will represent Uzbekistan at the Asian Championship:

Men
- 49 kg: Nodirjon Mirzahmedov
- 52 kg: Hasanboy Dusmatov
- 56 kg: Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov
- 60 kg: Shukurjon Rahimov
- 64 kg: Shunqor Abdurasulov
- 69 kg: Bobo-Usmon Boturov
- 75 kg: Isroil Madrimov
- 81 kg: Dilshodbek Ruzmatov
- 91 kg: Sanjar Tursunov
+ 91 kg: Bakhodir Jalolov.

Women 
- 48 kg: Fatima Tursunboeva
- 51 kg: Farangiz Khoshimova
- 54 kg: Tursunoy Rakhimova
- 57 kg: Yodgoroy Mirzayeva
- 60 kg: Raykhona Kodirova
- 64 kg: Maftuna Melieva
- 69 kg: Shakhnoza Yunusova
- 75 kg: Mavluda Mavlonova
- 81 kg: Ezoza Melieva.

Uzbek boxers have been attending the continental championship since 1995. To date, our compatriots took the highest position in the team standings at Asian Championships 4 times (in 1999, 2002, 2007 and 2017). The record performance was set in 2017, our athletes won 9 gold medals out of 10 weight categories.

For reference, in 1995, 1999, and 2017, Uzbekistan hosted the Asian Boxing Championship.
