Elmira Basitkhanova appointed deputy prime minister
In Tashkent, a regular meeting of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis was held. Deputies considered a number of organizational issues. The Telegram channel of the “Yuksalish” nationwide movement reports about it.
In particular, the deputies approved the candidacy of Elmira Basitkhanova as deputy prime minister at the proposal of Abdulla Aripov, PM of Uzbekistan.
For information, she has served as Deputy Minister of Health since December 12, 2016. In 2011-2016, Elmira Basitkhanova was Deputy PM – Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan.
It should be recalled that currently, this post is occupied by Tanzila Narbayeva. In December 2018, she was also re-elected as Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan for five years.
