The ambassador noted that the parties are actively preparing for the event. “In the run-up and during the official visit of the head of Uzbekistan, we together with Belarusian partners will hold a number of activities in Minsk. Nosirjon Yusupov expressed confidence that the forthcoming official visit of the head of state to Belarus will raise bilateral cooperation to a higher, qualitatively new level.
The ambassador also highlighted the importance of the Belarusian president's official visit to Uzbekistan in September 2018 which “opened a new page in the history of Uzbek-Belarus relations and filled them with practical content.”
The parties are expected to examine the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level in Tashkent and prospects for further bilateral contracts.
