Two citizens of Uzbekistan die in Istanbul
Two citizens of Uzbekistan died in Istanbul on July 28, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, a citizen of Uzbekistan, who was recently hospitalized due to injuries sustained during a car accident, died at the hospital “Samatya Hastanesi” on July 28.
On the same day, in the above-mentioned hospital, the death of another citizen of Uzbekistan, hospitalized with stab wounds as a result of an incident in one of the districts of Istanbul, was registered.
“According to the facts, Turkish law enforcement agencies launched investigations. The Consulate General has taken these situations under control and provides assistance in resolving consular legal and organizational issues to the relatives of the victims,” the MFA press service writes.
