Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan intend to develop cooperation in peaceful use of atomic energy
At the UzAtom agency, a meeting with a delegation of the Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan was held. Within the framework of the visit, delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the agency and studied the Information Center for Atomic Technologies (ICAT).
During the meeting, issues of developing bilateral relations and signing a memorandum of understanding between the Energy Ministries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the peaceful use of atomic energy were discussed in detail.
The parties also considered the prospect for cooperation in the sphere of information and environmental impact assessment.
