Uzbekistan to improve Wi-Fi speed for tourists 

According to the presidential decree “On measures to further develop the tourism industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, it is planned to introduce Wi-Fi at a speed of not less than 4 Mbps at hotels throughout the country.

In accordance with the document, airports, railways and bus stations will also be equipped with Wi-Fi of the same speed.

This measure is the first step in the creation of a tourist “smart city”, where high technologies will help improve infrastructure, services and stimulate the local economy.
