Uzbek citizen killed in a traffic accident in Kazakhstan

In the village of Epkendi, Turkestan region, a citizen of Uzbekistan died as a result of a road accident, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty, on the night of August 23, an Uzbek citizen, who was hit by a bus, died on the Turkestan-Shymkent highway in the village of Epkendi.
A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the traffic accident. An investigation is underway.
“The Consulate General took control of the situation and maintains operational communication with the law enforcement bodies of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan,” the MFA said.
