Kazan-based LLC “Mir Transporta” plans to invest 400 million soums in Uzbekistan’s tourism projects
The Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments hosted a meeting with the Director General of the LLC “Mir Transporta” Lenar Nazipov and Deputy Director Rustam Khamrayev.
Kazan-based company “Mir Transporta” has been providing passenger transportation services for 10 years in the cities of the Russian Federation. In September 2018, the company launched a bus service connecting Uzbekistan, Russia and Kazakhstan.
According to the Agency’s press service, representatives of the company arrived in Tashkent to consider the issues of investing in Uzbekistan’s tourism industry, noting that the country is currently becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations for citizens of the Russian Federation.
Since the beginning of this year, about 2,000 both local and foreign tourists have been transported along the developed route Kazan – Tashkent – Kazan.
During the conversation, Lenar Nazipov emphasized that 400 million soums was determined as the minimum authorized capital for the project on investing in the tourism industry of the republic.
It is noted that the Agency will assist in providing information on the proposed benefits and preferences for foreign investors in the tourism sphere, and on the possibility of obtaining a loan from banks in Uzbekistan.
