Samarkand to host third “One belt, one road, one tourism” International Conference
The Second “One belt, one road, one tourism” International Conference was held on October 12-15, 2019 in Guilin (China), in which representatives of the Silk Road International University of Tourism, led by the First Deputy Rector for Development and Strategic Issues Azamat Akbarov participated.
The international conference “One belt, one road, one tourism” was attended by more than 200 representatives of various educational and government institutions, large tourism companies from 64 countries.
In the conference, various issues related to the tourism sector and organization of cooperation between educational institutions and private companies, the use of information and communication technologies in the tourism sector and others were discussed.
It should be noted that the third international conference is planned to be held in 2020 in Samarkand, in particular, at the Silk Road International University of Tourism. The conference will provide an interactive platform for scientists and tourism professionals to share their latest research works.
