Water supply expenditures to be covered by consumers themselves – Government resolution
A draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, in accordance with which consumers will be obliged to cover the government costs for the supply of water has been published by the Ministry of Water Resources, vkratce.uz writes.
According to the document, in 2020, 10 percent of the total expenditures will be covered by consumers, in 2021 – 20 percent, in 2022 – 30 percent, in 2023 – 40 percent and in 2024 – 50 percent.
Farms and other agricultural enterprises will need to make payments twice a year based on the area of sowing.
The document is expected to be effective from July 1, next year.
