Excise tax rates for a number of goods to double in 2020

In 2020, excise tax rates on goods (services) produced (rendered) in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be raised.
According to the Law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”, signed by the President, the excise tax rates for jewelry will increase to 25%, for mobile communication services to 20%, for oil products to around 180,000-250,000 soums and for natural gas to 20%.
