The film was shot in the historical genre using parkour elements. Its plot is dedicated to the new adventures of Aladdin – the famous hero of oriental tales, the State Committee for Tourism Development said.
The film was shot in the historical buildings of the ancient cities of Khiva and Bukhara, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The role of Aladdin was played by Kalen Chan, parkour and freerunning athlete. The film was shot by Devin Graham, the American director of the devinsupertramp YouTube channel.
“We shot our film at two places – Bukhara and Khiva. Everything looked just like a tale, but it was real. People were incredibly friendly, the food was awesome, and the buildings and history were phenomenal,” the author of the video shared his impressions.
The channel, which creates adventure and extreme sports videos, has over 5.5 million subscribers and over 1.3 billion views.
