Uzbekistan named among world’s TOP-20 fastest growing tourist destinations
According to latest UNWTO data, Uzbekistan is among the world’s TOP-20 fastest growing tourist destinations.

In particular, Uzbekistan ranked fourth in the rating. The Independent published an article about it.
The list also includes Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which ranked 17th and 20th respectively.

4. Uzbekistan (27.3%)

6. Egypt (21.1%)

9. Maldives (14.9%)
10. The Bahamas (14.6%)
11. Qatar (14.5%)
12. Armenia (14.4%)
12. South Korea (14.4%)
13. Turkey (14.0%)
14. Bosnia and Herzegovina (13.7%)
15. Tunisia (13.6%)
16. Laos (11.5%)
17. Azerbaijan (11.4%)
18. Israel (10.5%)
19. Lithuania (10.1%)
20. Kazakhstan (10.0%)
According to the UNWTO statistics, overseas trips hit 1.5 billion in 2019, up four per cent from 2018. France remained the most-visited country with more than 90 million visitors, followed by Spain’s 83.8 million.
