Speedtest: Internet speed in Uzbekistan improved, the country is up by two lines in the world rating
Speedtest.net, administered by the Irish company Ookla, has published a monthly rating of the Speedtest Global Index, which contains data on mobile and fixed broadband Internet speed in the world as of February 2020.
In the monthly rating of the Speedtest Global Index, which contains data on mobile and fixed broadband Internet speed in the world, Uzbekistan climbed up two lines, showing a better result compared to January 2020.
In the overall rating, Uzbekistan ranks 102nd in terms of fixed broadband Internet speed. In total, over the past year, the Internet speed in Uzbekistan has increased by almost 2.4 times – from 10.89 Mbps in January 2019 to 26.30 Mbps (Download) in February 2020.
Speedtest calculates the speed and generates a rating based on its own data received from users who use the service to check the speed of their connection.
