UAE sends humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan to fight the spread of coronavirus
The UAE has sent over 8 tons of humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan to fight the spread of coronavirus, Otabek Umarov said in his Telegram channel.
“I express my sincere gratitude to the Government of the UAE for aiding the people of Uzbekistan in the fight against the worldwide pandemic. Today, over 8 tons of humanitarian aid arrived in Tashkent including medical protective gear such as masks, gloves and hazmat anti-viral suits. These resources will help contain the spread of COVID-19 in our nation,” Umarov wrote.

“We are glad to know that we are not alone in this struggle, and especially appreciate the bravery of those who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus. We send you our best regards and may the prayers of my compatriots protect you and your loved ones in these trying times,” he added.
