Group of fraudsters selling invalid tickets to Russia detained in Karshi

Three people were detained in Karshi for selling invalid tickets to Russia, the Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry reports.

The executive director of local LLC (33-year-old L.E.), its founder (32-year-old I.M.) and cashier (47-year-old J.Sh.) were entangled in the collusion.

From January 8 to February 15, 2020, they sold invalid and unregistered airline tickets to 38 citizens for flights Karshi-Moscow, Samarkand-Moscow and Tashkent-Moscow. The total cost of tickets sold was more than 75 million soums.

The Investigation Department of Karshi City filed a criminal charge on this case under paragraphs A and B of Article 168 (part 3) of the Criminal Code (Fraud). A preliminary investigation is underway.
