Turkey to resume flights with Uzbekistan in June
Turkey is planning to restore air traffic this month with 40 countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said on Thursday.
“In June, we plan to gradually resume flights with 40 countries. We have come to an agreement with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Austria, Lithuania, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Albania, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Italy,” the minister said.
First international flights will be opened to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Qatar and Greece.
Following the flights that are scheduled to restart on June 10, Turkey is planning to resume flights with the Netherlands and Kazakhstan on June 20, with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, South Korea, Ireland, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway and Slovakia – on June 20 and with Belgium – on June 25.
Karaismailoğlu added that all passengers arriving from abroad will be tested for coronavirus at airports.
