Uzbekistan to allocate 200bn soums to develop tourism in Kashkadarya
Kashkadarya region khokimiyat will establish an off-budgetary fund to develop tourism in the region.
According to the presidential decree “On measures for further development of domestic and pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan”, the fund will be allocated 200 billion soums from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development.
It is noted that an Action Plan should be developed to direct the funds to promising projects and be submitted to the government within two months by the State Tourism Committee, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the Ministry of Finance and the Committee for Automobile Roads.
