Turkish urban planning company may participate in the creation of “New Andijan”

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a resolution “On measures to effectively organize the construction of Yangi Andijon city.”

According to the document, 4 thousand hectares of undeveloped land area of the Andijan region will be allocated for the phased construction of the Yangi Andijon (New Andijan) city with estimated population of 440 thousand inhabitants.

At the first stage of the construction, multi-story residential buildings that will house 121 thousand people will be built with social facilities, trade, and services, as well as a small industrial zone.

In the first stage of the project, the Directorate will be responsible for the construction of internal roads, social facilities, and landscaping, while ministries and departments under the jurisdiction, as well as their customer service - for the construction of facilities for external engineering and transport communications, as well as communication lines;

As an exception, the general design organization of the State Unitary Enterprise “O'zshaharsozlikLITI” attracted the company “Keym Kentsel Yenileme Merkezi A.S.” (Turkey) to the development of urban planning documentation for the city based on direct agreements.

“O'zbekkommunalloyixaqurilish” LLC will be involved in the development of design estimates for the construction of drinking water and sewerage networks, while independent engineering and consulting companies – “Yo’l-Loyiha Byurosi” LLC, State Unitary Enterprise “O’zyulloyiha”, as well as other design organizations of the Road Committee together with independent engineering and consulting companies will make design estimates for the construction of roads.

The supply of metal rolling and cement products for the construction of multi-story residential buildings is carried out according to the procedure for the sale of cement and metal rolling at a separate trading exchange section, provided for by presidential decree No. 11.03.2021 of UP-6186.
