Finnish Ambassador completes her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
On August 3, Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland (with residence in Helsinki) Marja Liivala in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
As the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported, from September 1, 2021, she starts to perform the duties of the Department of Director General of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on promising areas for the further development of Uzbek-Finnish cooperation, the schedule of upcoming events at various levels, as well as certain issues of interaction between the parties within the framework of international organizations.
“The ambassador, in turn, thanked the Uzbek side for the favorable conditions created for the successful fulfillment of her mission in our country,” the Foreign Ministry concluded.
