State Testing Center announces the final number of applicants for admission to higher education

In 2020, 1,484,085 applicants were registered. The STC had estimated that the number of applicants would be close to 1.6 million this year. However, 948,211 people applied for higher education.

948,211 is the final number. Applicants who have not paid for the test, have not chosen a major, and have not yet completed school are not included in the statistics.

Reportedly, this year, competition for part-time courses has increased considerably: 435,995 applicants are applying for 37,675 seats.
