Switzerland to evacuate its citizens from Afghanistan through the territory of Uzbekistan

On August 19, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov had a telephone conversation with the head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis.
According to the MFA press service, the heads of the foreign affairs departments discussed the current state of relations and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the organizational and technical aspects of the evacuation of Swiss citizens from Afghanistan through the territory of Uzbekistan.
Earlier it was reported that Germany is evacuating its citizens from Afghanistan via Uzbekistan.
