Photo: Snow falls in mountainous areas of Uzbekistan

In particular, snowfall was observed in the Zaamin district of Jizzakh region. Currently, the mountains of Zaamin at an altitude of 800-900 meters above sea level are covered with snow.

A heavy snowfall also took place on the Kamchik pass. The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued an appeal asking drivers not to brake abruptly on a wet road.

Earlier, Uzhydromet stated that a sharp drop in temperature is expected.
