Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Russia
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the presidential press service, the high-level talks will take place in Moscow today.
It is noted that the issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries will be discussed and a number of documents will be signed.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke about the documents to be signed during the visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow.
“During the visit, a major political joint statement on cooperation in the field of international information security will be adopted. The Presidents will sign 18 documents aimed at further deepening collaboration in various fields,” he said.
