Uzbekistan’s electric vehicle imports up by 7 times in a year
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-October 2021, Uzbekistan imported 613 electric vehicles from 9 countries for $12 million.

Electric car imports increased by 526 units or almost 7 times compared to the same period last year, the committee says.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported EVs mainly from:
- China - 551
- Turkey - 24
- Lithuania - 13
- Germany - 9
- USA - 7
- South Korea - 5
- Spain - 2
- Russia - 1
- Hong Kong - 1
