MFA issues an official statement: No Uzbek citizens suffered from the road accident in Kazakhstan
The road accident occurred yesterday on the 105th kilometer of the Almaty-Bishkek highway in the Almaty region.
The Mercedes-Benz driver lost control on the icy road and jumped onto the opposite lane. At that moment, a passenger bus was moving in the reverse direction.
After a head-on collision, the bus overturned onto a passenger car, which contained six people. Three of them died on the spot. The bus passengers were not injured.
Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan confirmed that there were countrymen on the bus. It is noted that they all have already safely returned to their homeland.
